100% Pinoy, a GMA7 TV program, has just recently featured Webkomiks in its show. The feature story, entitled "Babasahing Komiks", includes interviews with Filipino artists who have made it to the international scene. They also traced the long history of Pinoy komiks starting with the sketches of our national hero, to the post-WW2 era,

on to the golden age of Pinoy komiks (60s - 80s) and up to the komiks industry's eventual demise in the 90s. It also includes the various efforts to revive the Pinoy komiks as a prominent entertainment media in the Philippines. And of course, one of the efforts is to showcase our Filipino artists' works in the Internet hence our website Webkomiks.com.
